Depeche Mode

We finally got to see Depeche Mode :-)

We bought tickets yesterday and drove today to Nancy (France). Got there by 5 p.m. and then we had to wait for like 1.5 hours till they let us in. The pre-band was M83 which Sean and me really like a lot - but we like the CD better than to see them live.

By 9 p.m Depeche Mode started their concert. I can not even say it in words but it was awesome!!! Ok some of the french people do not know the difference between sitting-tickets and standing-tickets - but we found our ways to get a good view.

Dave is really good looking for his age and full of power and energy - it seems like we got back to the 80's just for 2 hours.

We left 2 songs earlier to avoid traffic and be on the road by midnight - NO WAY!!! All the car drivers had to wait like 45 minutes till after the concert till most of the walking crowd has passed the major streets. So we had to wait almost 1 hour till we finally got rollin. We got back by 3 a.m in the morning - and I was still dreaming about the music :-)

I really enjoyed our kind of last evening together before Sean is leaving to the States this week.

Dave - 47 years? Is that true????

He had a lot of energy and we did feel that in his music.

Yeahhhh - awesome concert. They will be here in Stuttgart in November again - well maybe ....
